Please come stay a while, look around, meet the band, and search for secrets. Proudly hailing from Wisconsin (and Minnesota🥳), Dolt blends pop, funk, blues, rock, and more into a syncopated blend. During Seth and Wyatt's middle and high school careers, they started playing and writing music before they had any idea what they were doing. They started a band consisting of three students, and the high school psychology teacher. What followed was 4 years of playing music with a sound of blues, psychedelic, and classic rock. They put on local shows for town events, family functions, and even at the school they all attended. When Wyatt graduated, the band started playing less and less. During this time, Wyatt and Seth started writing for a separate, very different project. In college, Wyatt became friends with Emma and Ben, who he discovered played keyboard and bass. With new voices in the band, the direction shifted, leaning itself to a more nuanced sound that uses interconnected parts with the other instruments in the band. The band’s name shifted around, until finally settling on the name Dolt, which came from Emma’s bike lock. She has requested that no one uses this to steal her bike.

Dolt has been working to bring their ideas to life, and we’re excited to share this journey with everyone!

What a wonderful unprompted question you have. Late fall a full Dolt album will be making its way to all streaming services we can figure out. It will allegedly have 10 tracks and we can not wait to share it with all of you.
